Competing teams
Six Troops were represented in the Esher District Cooking Competition held on Saturday 24th September at 1st Claygate HQ. Teams were asked to cook a two-course meal the first course consisting of pork chops, new boiled potatoes and a vegetable of choice. The second course, pancakes with a choice of filling/toppings, and also a cup of 'hot' tea. Fortunately the weather was excellent and caused no problems in getting those all-important fires going! The judges, Sue Hoad and Alison Cartwright were very impressed by the general standard of cooking and also by the range of teas available.
Well done to all those who took part and congratulations to 1st Hinchley Wood.
